Cats said no to bed and furniture

I have a rescuer who insists on scratching my carpet rather than at one of the myriad types of scratching stations throughout the house. Thought he might be tempted by it, but not by accident. None of my kittens will touch him. It actually works better as a deterrent! I had a spot where it started scratching my drywall so I attached it to the wall above that spot. He has not been near the area since then. Your mileage may vary!

Very durable and no damage!

My cat is scratching a lot and I was afraid it would rip it off the wall, but it won't move! It's great and she loves it. The only minor downside is that it will definitely rip the paint off your walls. The paint chipped off a bit the first time I misaligned it. Even though my house is over 100 years old and the walls are terrible I was very pleasantly surprised that he didn't damage it!

Simple, durable, unobtrusive, beautiful color and space-saving!

My cat started using it after a few days but soon she started using it every day. We tried smearing some catnip on the surface to tempt them and it seemed to work. We just fixed it to the wall with the supplied adhesive strips and so far it's holding up pretty well (after 2 months of use). . The fabric itself also appears to be very durable, as a scratch has not yet led to any noticeable wear. The ability to wall mount this scraper allows us to save valuable space in our small bedroom so this…

I like it a lot, I'll probably buy a second one!

I was looking for a simple looking but durable scratching post and this one is fantastic. I've had it for over two months now and as you can see from the picture it still looks great! It leaves no marks or pieces after my cat scratches it. A few suggestions: smear catnip all over your body or use catnip spray to pique your interest and find out where your cat already likes to scratch and lay. It will only help speed up the process of regular use. So yes, if your cat likes to scratch its hind…

It's strong and sticky!

I'm really impressed with this little scratching post. It took my cats a while to start scratching it, but they've been brushing it since I bought it. The fabric is very durable and even the skirting board is made of real wood. The adhesive attaches to the baseplate with Velcro, and the adhesive pad itself is a command strip. This allows you to tear the scratching post off the adhesive at any time and then simply pull the tab to remove it from the wall without damaging it. The only downside to…

Easy to install, not the best view from the side

I installed this at the end of a partition, it was easy to install (I chose hardware install and then command bars to prevent that it moves) and while it's not my cat's favorite scratching post, he definitely uses it and I love that I can adjust the height so it stretches out nicely. My cat is big so I don't think I trust the command strips alone, but the single point of hardware seems very solid. particularly beautiful view. This is the barend wood for the posts and later the battens. I will…

Fairly Good: Cats

My cat loves this item and it's nice to have a scratching post that doesn't take up space. It also goes well with my closet doors. The "damage free" hanging boards are not entirely undamaged as they have taken some paint from the wall, but only a little. My cat enjoyed ripping off the material with her claws, which eventually ripped the scratching post off the wall. I reattached it, but this time lined up the bottom of the scraper with the ground so that the pressure as you pulled down wasn't…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Something different

I hung it on the wall next to the door that was constantly being scratched by cats. I placed it high enough for them to stretch to their full length and then scratch a little. To get them to scratch, I hung a feather near the top of the scratching post. One of the cats jumped up and grabbed the scratching post at the top. I was afraid that she would jump off the wall because everything was on her. In other words, he wasn't scratching it, he was hanging on it with three paws and tapping the…
