Lots of manufacturing flaws, a nasty assembly nightmare.

Shelves have a number of design and cosmetic flaws that make assembly difficult. The shelves are made from beautifully finished plywood and provide a large surface area for storing or displaying items, books and other materials. Shelves and metal frames do not go well together. The initial assembly of the shelves and frame took over two hours and was a nightmare.1. The underside of the frame connecting the top and bottom was bent and it took me about ten minutes to get the pliers out and fix the defect so I could put the threadlocker in. Even after assembly, the lower and upper frames do not match. To the right. The side frame metal plates must be manufactured as a unit. The frame has sloppy and bad solder joints that have just been painted over.2. There is a lot of chipped paint on it and the holes for attaching the metal frame were not properly drilled or perforated and I had to remove the partially perforated metal with a screwdriver and knock the metal out.3. The wooden shelves had partially drilled holes for plastic plugs that didn't fit until I cleaned the holes with a screwdriver. Very poor production with defective parts. I wish these items were made in America using quality manufacturing methods as many parts had to be inspected and repaired or thrown away as defective and faulty.
