Not waterproof and a bit flimsy
Two questions: 1. It just isn't very durable (see video), but that's to be expected.2. It is claimed that it can be used in the bathroom but if you read the questions and reviews you will see that the wood is not waterproof. It is also clearly visible when holding the shelves in your hands. Putting polyurethane on it is very easy, but manufacturers could do it just as easily.
