This is not a perfect 1:1 copy of the Gamecube controller - it has more buttons to match the functionality of modern controllers. I bought it to play retro games on PC, so I can't vouch for its performance on Nintendo Switch. PCs running Windows 10 had problems with the Bluetooth function and I could not pair. Luckily, I was able to spot it and use the USB cable that came with it. Buttons and joysticks work perfectly. They have a perfect click and the triggers have great feedback when pressed. The crossbar is a little small for an adult's hands, but does the job. The extra shoulder buttons are a nice touch, making it comparable (albeit less comfortable than) to an Xbox 360 controller for retro gaming. Whether you want to bring back the good old Smash days or want to get as close as possible to the authentic Gamecube experience without the Gamecube, you can't go wrong with this controller. Maybe you have better luck than me with Bluetooth pairing?
