My Nintendo Switch melted

Nintendo Switch overheated and melted. I can't even get any information as to why this happened. It's not fake, it actually happened. My son came and said the switch smelled burnt. I looked at it and before I saw it I felt it. Burned the dirt out of my finger. But now I need to get a new card and see if the Switch is broken.
