Review on Rightline Gear 100B90 Cargo Saddlebag by Steven Wood

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Every SUV/Van should have one of these!

We love it! Our SUV does not have a trailer hitch. That's why we bought this solution. We call it a car backpack. It works wonders. We camp a lot and this allows us to travel with our 2 kids in car seats and with all our gear without having to rent a van. You'll find yourself plugging it into your car for everything. Our bag was badly damaged and is still ticking. We used it about 7 times and even fell off the car once. (user error, forgot clip) and it still works. The material is durable and water-repellent. We camped on the beach and a summer storm passed overnight. All our things were dry. The locks are also very strong. The wild horses on the beach couldn't get into this bag. We also put a photo of our number plate in the holder. So far we haven't had any problems with it. We really tested this bag and we are satisfied with the result. In our travels we have attracted friends and strangers to this bag. Holds a lot. For reference it once had a king size air mattress, 3 duffel bags, 2 sleeping bags and still had enough room for other camping essentials. At the campsite, this turns out to be an outside toilet. We make the space in the tent very generous! If I had to say on the cons, it would be that the bag has no frame. So for about $25 at home and another hour of measuring and cutting I made my own and it works perfectly.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • There are problems
