My 3 year old runs a lot. He walked 1.5 miles with me this morning. He is also VERY picky about shoes. I bought him expensive walking shoes, but he refuses to wear them. I had a cheaper pair like this, they were breathable and he wore them until they fell apart and then got too small. They didn't have much internal support at all so I looked around for similar but slightly better pairs and found these. They are true to size and well made. Inside is decent padding for the arch of the foot. Not much, but enough. I love that they have velcro at the top to close and lace up at the bottom (they don't tie, they stretch) but that gives them more ankle support. Most importantly, my little one wears them really uncomplainingly. He ran almost two miles again today, no blisters, no discomfort. Very happy with this shoe!
