This review deserves a capitalized title to emphasize my point. I bought these because I've been using tennis and lacrosse balls to massage my back and hamstrings for a number of years, but I needed something deeper to loosen up some of my hamstrings. They are really fantastic and really did their job. Rolling them under your thighs/buttocks really helps loosen tight muscle knots. I haven't tried using them together in a bag to unclog both sides of the spine, but they work great individually to unclog one side at a time. I have bought many different self massage items over the years and I think these are indeed the most effective compared to the cheapest products I have tried.
