I never thought I would see the day that I would want to write a review about a litter box, but here I am. I wanted to share my experience to help other cat owners understand that this "innovative" litter box may not be for every cat. We used to have a large corner litter box for our two cats - one was 15 pounds and the other was 12 pounds. Cats LOVE to follow litter everywhere, which is why we've been rocking the litter box for years. Those who have used a toilet mat know that it's not perfect either, as it gets the job done, but it can be difficult to clean. Anyway, when we recently moved to a smaller apartment, I looked around for a cleaner and nicer solution. It seemed to tick all the boxes. Other cat parents have left rave reviews of how much cleaner the process was with litter and feces going back into the magic box. Well that was the dirtiest situation we've ever been in. And our cats are some of the cleanest I've ever met. Long story short, after all, we've been in cat poop all over the apartment, furniture, and bedding all week. . The final uproar on Friday was a puddle of urine on the cat litter mat (which I ended up buying because the litter was still being tracked). Our cats have never had this behavior associated with potty training. While the tray isn't pleasing to the eye, the logistics of this tray are dead wrong. Cats have to step on their own shit to get over the top. They slide and slide to get out, then spend the rest of the day cleaning their paws. I was constantly cleaning the tray to avoid this - not the best way to waste time when running my own business. I once had to help our older cat with a washcloth and soap because everything was sticking to her hind leg and she was miserable. I bought their unsightly standard corner tray again. Both for the cunt and for us everything is good again.
