The Earto iPad 9.7 inch keyboard case is a great investment and a good laptop replacement. The keyboard is virtually identical to the new 10.5-inch iPad Air in terms of key spacing and function keys, is backlit and easy to pair via Bluetooth. The ability to rotate the screen 360 degrees proved extremely handy, especially when streaming video content. The case is typically used in landscape mode, but if you're using it in portrait mode (rotated 180 degrees and resting on the keyboard), make sure to turn off the handy power button to get Apple's virtual keyboard. This case is arguably the most durable keyboard case I've ever used, including a $150 Apple case that died after years of use. And for 1/3 the price, you can't go wrong, even if you sacrifice the convenience of plugging in an Apple Smart Keyboard.
