Where to start? I have a brand new mango wood table on which I placed the same 40 year old piece of black latigo that I have used on every other table (and workbench). He knows better days. I was looking for something that would go well with the dramatic mango blossoms but be easily distinguishable from a wood surface, protect my desk from the heat of multiple laptops, be a good writing surface, be easy to clean, and tolerate my morning coffee with alcohol.
