I bought the light set. I bought them at a great price and didn't even think about what I would do with 500 sets of not so good plastic utensils. When the box arrived and I opened it, I gasped. What the hell did I buy? Light set, really easy. It is not intended for products that require a lot of pressure to lift. Each set is wrapped in plastic for the convenience of taking to lunch, keeping in our RV and I don't know what else. My husband hates them because the set is so thin. He won't use them. A spoon is good for pudding, cottage cheese, oatmeal, and pretty much anything you need a spoon for (except hot). The fork is good for very tender meat, salads such as pasta and potatoes, cakes and tarts and other soft foods. The knife is useless. It slices things like most fruit, bread, maybe even a sandwich, but don't expect to eat a sliced steak with it. Ha! This plastic utensil is slightly smaller than average. It's shorter than what I usually use (see photo) and significantly lighter. I really should have thought about how much 500 sets cost before buying because I have no idea what I would do with all of that. Halloween is coming. Maybe the kids won't notice if I toss a few sets in their candy bags. ;) If you're looking for lightweight plastic utensils in bulk, this set is a great buy, also at a higher price than I paid. I think they were only about $12 when I bought mine. Be aware that you are getting flexible cookware. They would actually be great in a child's lunch box - at an age when a plastic knife can be abused. This one won't do much damage, so I wouldn't worry too much about a kid using this utensil. I give 4 stars because they advertise it. You cannot expect quality cutlery when the listing clearly states that it is lightweight. It's not terrible and it can be used. Much better than spurs! And there are many such sets! I don't think I'll ever need flimsy plastic spoons, forks or knives again. If you need more durable plastic utensils, choose more expensive and heavier ones. It's worth the cost of not bending your fork and knife when trying to cut a piece of grilled meat.
