Love it! Hate it! in Power Tools

For those who don't know, it continuously hammers in a single nail until it sinks into the floorboard. First of all I would like to say the following. saved my ass many times. It has a dual use. It is not possible to drive a nail with the nail place and driving partially driven nails will cause misfires. For this reason I love this article. Well why do I hate her. As others have said, if you don't pre-drill a hole, it will bend the nail. But there's still a chance it will bend even with pre-drilled holes. That definitely applies to me as I used hickory planks. By the way, without pre-drilling a hole and successfully hammering in a nail, you get a denser, more absorbent panel of wood. Pre-drilling increases the chances it won't kink, but doesn't seem to nail it to the board any tighter. AFTER FACT EDITION: I've used this thing on several oak planks, which are a heck of a lot softer than hickory and had no problem driving tenons without pre-drilling. So if you are installing oak flooring, pre-drilling is unlikely to be necessary. Hickory or maple, yes, you have to pre-drill. But actually I hate the condition of "air leakage". Brand new out of the box, my power palm was in a state of air leakage as were several other users. I fixed it by using the device and first hammering a nail into the unwanted piece and it was fixed. But over time, just from using it, the device fell into a state of air leakage. I'd have to close and reopen the compressor regulator, or keep making the "press the lid" suggestion in the manual. In my case, I would just hit the folded rag with the tip. Halfway through completing the entire ground floor of my house I had to do this at least 10 times which would have been nice if you didn't just use this device on walls. That means I've encountered this problem too many times. In any case, this is a very useful tool and I would recommend it even though it is bipolar.
