Despite the reviews, I tried this chair because I prefer these type of armrests for a task chair. There was an error. The pictures more or less speak for themselves. The entire seatback is tilted to the left when assembled. I went through and tried loosening the screws on the back as well as the base bracket to see if I could move it to a better position. This also resulted in one arm being significantly lower and further from center than the other. The pictures I posted are as good as I can get. Yes, it really was worse. At first this thing tilted so much that after a night of drinking it could keep up with a sailor. I thought about returning it and sending me a new one, but I really don't want to put myself through the hassle. I can say that the chair is very easy to assemble (and disassemble). Even with the effort I put into keeping it upright, the entire process from taking it out to putting it back in could take an hour or so. All in all I have the tools and knowledge to make this chair. better. However, I don't spend $150 just to spend a few hours afterwards getting it working. I suspect many of the five star reviews were the result of bribery in the form of refunds or free goods. Consider yourself forewarned.
