One of the first things that struck me about this mold was the thickness of the silicone, it's not as thin as some resin molds. The sidewalls are also straight, not warped, and 3mm thick, which is really good. The fully cured sheet of resin measures just under 26 cm (10.75 inches). Each square on the board is just over 3cm. This is really a good shape for a chess board. I wanted a board like that. Because I want to make my own chess pieces without resin, but I like that I can make the resin board any color I want. The lines separating each square on the board are clear but not very high, so when casting, caution is definitely required. resin in each cell. It is also very important that you have a work surface that is as flat as possible. Overall I'm very happy with this board and hope to make some great chess sets!
