Chess board only. It's nice to be able to make a chess or chessboard with my own colors and motifs. The possibilities are only limited by the imagination. An interesting way for someone to get to know these games too.

I've been dabbling in epoxy projects recently and being a keen chess player I thought this was a good idea. I didn't need chess pieces since I make them on my 3D printer. The only thing I could fault is that the lines separating the squares could be a bit higher so you don't have to colorize your squares as carefully. This is irrelevant. Do you need a mold to build a chess board with your own hands, but you don't need a mold for the pieces? This is a good kit for your epoxy project.

I have wanted to make a custom chess set for many years and have thought about getting professionally printed cardboard boards with custom graphics. Since I will be painting the parts and casting them with resin I figured this would be better and better quality than the cardboard ones. The mold itself is beautiful, thick enough, easy to separate from the resin. This is a good quality mold that is recommended if you want to make your own kits. I like that they look nicer than the cardboard ones.

One of the first things that struck me about this mold was the thickness of the silicone, it's not as thin as some resin molds. The sidewalls are also straight, not warped, and 3mm thick, which is really good. The fully cured sheet of resin measures just under 26 cm (10.75 inches). Each square on the board is just over 3cm.
