If you have a pet, this is not for you. My cat didn't like the material so the upside to this sofa cover was that he wouldn't claw the couch up or the cover since he didn't like it. That was a huge plus. The downside is it shrinks, even washed how the instructions say. It got holes in it after about a month. My dogs are big and all lay on it along with my husband and our child. The material was so thin that it started to give out in places and we are now left with some holes. Even before the rips, the cover did a terrible job from keeping any odors of any kind from reaching the actual couch. That was disappointing given that cloth couches are not easy to clean like a slip cover that can be thrown in the wash. This product was very disappointing and I'm back on the hunt for a good cover for my sectional.
