I have a loft bed and this little stool gives me the perfect "boost". It lets me start easily, up or down, so its small size is more than enough for a used foot. I have a narrow bed pressed against a 6-foot span of two double-paned windows (my "view" is amazing, so I wouldn't see it anywhere else!). The vinyl covered replacement windows that my landlord installed in this 80 year old building hardly move and I have to constantly raise and lower them, raise and lower them (rain, sea breeze, hot sun, etc.). The only way to get the right leverage is to climb straight onto the bed and do your best! And I'm in all the aches and pains and stiffness you'd expect as I near my 70th birthday. Well it was a lot of hassle until my step stool arrived. Now it's time to hop and hop! The bonus is that when I stand on my bed, the spiers, domes, spiers, and distant "hills" look even more magnificent! I strongly recommend if you feel uncomfortable reaching something, order a stool! If you don't like it, Revain is great for taking her "stuff".
