Review on 📀 Coby TF-DVD7377 7-Inch DivX Compatible Portable DVD Player – Enhanced Viewing Experience On-the-Go by Ryan Person

We got this DVD for our 2 year old daughter to put in the car as we had some long car rides before Christmas and it works great. The volume was just perfect for it, although you can crank it up with some external gear if needed, but we didn't find it, I even heard it while driving, so it has plenty of volume. The controls are easy to use and it even has a remote control, but we didn't take it with us as we thought we'd lose it. It comes with an assembly bag which sounds simple but is a lot more complicated than expected and has a few issues which I'll address here: 1) Doesn't easily attach to the back of the car seat and the instructions confuse me. 2) The DVD player controls are flipped up and therefore face out with the screen towards the back of the seat (like a tablet PC you can look at) - meaning you don't use the swivel for the screen at all and you can't just insert and eject the DVD. For that reason, I suggest driving to Walmart (etc.) to buy a Case-Logic DVD player case - we bought one for $10 for an 8" player - they also offer it Space for multiple DVDs and one DVD - The player opens at a right angle to allow you to load discs and operate controls etc. Other useful features: You can insert the camera's SD card and view photos and movies on the screen, and there is also DIVX, etc., which may be useful for some people. This Coby turntable was similar. The price is the same as many other Coby players, but you really need to read the features section to make sure it has everything you want - some other Coby 7-inch players don't have as many features that you can use. Would recommend this to any parent planning a road trip - we drove 7 hours and our daughter was having fun half the time and sleeping the rest of the time.
