My son has never picked a typical Halloween costume from a party store. After watching the music video of people dancing in glowing costumes, he knew what to wear for Halloween. These lights made it and became a hit. He bought a pair of black padded pants and a hoodie, and I hand-stitched lightbulbs onto the clothes. The battery is attached to clothing, which is very convenient. I found that the material of the pants and hoodie caused the clip to slip off, but I was able to secure them with a safety pin and we had no problems with them after that. Once the sun went down everyone loved their stick figure costume, it was a trickster or a treat and it was so easy to make. The best part is that after we removed the stitching, he was able to use his pants and sweatshirt in the fall and winter, and we have the rest of the flashlights that we use when we go camping. I definitely recommend these lamps!
