So I brought these in a few months ago for a project that was delayed due to some extenuating circumstances and wood prices, but I finally got around to making it and on many levels these lights aren't up to date . Firstly the connector is 2 sets of 2 pins that are not easy to align and it seems this will eventually become an issue. #2 You can only cut every 3 feet. The control box with IR sensor is very big and only about 6 inches in the back, so it's not easy to hide it. The lights are just RGB LEDs in a silicone shell, and they're pretty bright, but they only really curve around the edges. a bit of flexibility If the connection goes down anytime soon I'm looking bad as a seller of the finished product, I hope they last but I won't be using them in another project.
