Let's forget all the scientific jargon and just admit that this toy is pure fun! Of course I like that it is environmentally friendly and very well made. But there are so many things a little kid can do with it besides putting shapes in holes. Did you know it spins like a top, together or in half? Or that you can let your child use one of the halves to put the pieces together, pretend it's a boat or even a helmet? And I love, love, love the fact that it doesn't squeak, sing, or make any other annoying noises. And when your child picks it up to see what sound it makes, it acts like a rattle! My 9 month old granddaughter and I just played with this toy for almost an hour. Wonderful! She spends a few minutes with most of the toys and then moves on to the next.
