Love the green toy for sorting and stacking toys

Let's forget all the scientific jargon and just admit that this toy is pure fun! Of course I like that it is environmentally friendly and very well made. But there are so many things a little kid can do with it besides putting shapes in holes. Did you know it spins like a top, together or in half? Or that you can let your child use one of the halves to put the pieces together, pretend it's a boat or even a helmet? And I love, love, love the fact that it doesn't squeak, sing, or make any other…

Shape Sorter Winner

I've been hesitating about this purchase. It's hard to find a well-tested shape sorter. After reading too many reviews I kept coming back to this one. We have a Green Toys storage toy and we love it. I was nervous that the shapes would fit/get stuck when the little guy pushes them in, but that's not a problem. It's really a lot of fun. The colors are great, the shapes fit well and don't fall back. Easy to take apart and put back together. It's also nice because you can separate the pieces and…

Great brand, bad design.

I'm a big fan of Green Toys. We have many of them and we love them. But this shape sorter is not my favorite. I love that my son can't open it by himself. With other shape sorters, he just takes the lid off and puts everything in a bucket. I liked that on this toy he MUST use the shape sorting holes to reach them. The main problem I have is related to the sorting form. Since it's fairly perfunctory, it often hangs if you insert one form and then try to insert a second. (I've added a photo…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Goodbye Green Toys 👎

I STOP SUPPORTING Green Toys. I bought my little son all green toys for Christmas in December 2020. All toys stink of washing powder. At first I thought I must have received the returned toys from the buyer who probably washed them with washing powder. But no, it wasn't. In fact, it was the company's fault. I emailed Green Toys and they were fully aware of the issue. They didn't think that was a problem and told me to just put them in the dishwasher or let them air out. I've left them in the…

Perfect toy! best for sorting and stacking toys

I actually bought this on sale just to put the toy box in the living room when company comes with the little ones. These green toys are definitely the best! What's not to love? The moment you receive one, you realize its essential and enduring quality. They're easy to clean and I literally can't understand any safety risks with these toys (except when used as a projectile, but that's the case with most non-cloth toys, so obviously if they're having a kid) . a group with some older toddlers or…

  • Durable surface

I wanted to love this toy!

Really wanted to love this toy! I bought this for my child's first Christmas. We received two more sorters as gifts. I didn't take the rest out of the box until a few weeks after Christmas. It is more difficult for a small child to play with it. The shapes are on the edges of the saucer, so it can be difficult to line up the two pieces. In addition, the saucer-shaped toy ensures that it will tip over if you try to put a piece inside. I think this toy would be better for older children who can…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other choices
