Have been doing this for years but haven't tried Ranger's UTEE embossing powder yet. I love Ranger designs, but I just don't see the point in using embossing that's too thick. But once I've tried it, I'm amazed at the results of my projects. I used distress ink mix on paper. I chose lighter colors like Antique Linen and Old Paper and then finished the edges with Aged Mahogany. I then printed the images in black over the ink. It was going to be a vintage style postcard, so I stuck with that theme. When everything was dry I covered the paper with a layer of clear embossing ink. Then I added a layer of UTEE and thermal embossing. I liked the results and even added a second layer of UTEE. The end result was a sheet of paper that no longer looked like paper. It had an aged look with texture and depth. Now one of my favorite looks!
