Great item for paper and paper crafts

No rating is required for this item! It's loved and used by 90% of crafters worldwide! It's a rich, thick, glass-like finish for jewelry making, postcards, pottery repairs, leaded glass repairs, sculpey design and just about anything else you can think of. Every workshop should have a glass!

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Only available in black

Yellows quickly if the temperature is too high. Try to stick to using a heat tool. I've tried everything, the oven ends up wasting too much UTEE and getting dirty, trying in a frying pan or a melting pot will yellow fairly quickly, but using a heating tool is the most consistent. Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Large and bulky

I emboss greeting cards and recently saw another embosser use this product with great thick glossy results. So of course I had to order some for myself. My order arrived today and I was…

Completely changes the look of paper!

Have been doing this for years but haven't tried Ranger's UTEE embossing powder yet. I love Ranger designs, but I just don't see the point in using embossing that's too thick. But once I've tried it, I'm amazed at the results of my projects. I used distress ink mix on paper. I chose lighter colors like Antique Linen and Old Paper and then finished the edges with Aged Mahogany. I then printed the images in black over the ink. It was going to be a vintage style postcard, so I stuck with that…

Pros
  • Handy stuff
Cons
  • So far so good
