Review on Prom Hoppe's M-Pro 7 LPX Gun Oil, 4 fl oz Bottle by Tom Goodlow

I bought this because of all the good reviews. I was wrong. Firstly the bottle is rubbish, it spilled on my toolbox and I found it leaked out of the nozzle part. Secondly, I applied this to my 10/22 after the usual removal and cleaning, only to find after 3 days that this material had completely discolored the stud. I thought maybe it was an accident so I kept cleaning and applying a very thin coat to the breech and receiver. In fact, after 3-4 days a layer of yellow-brown liquid appears on the bolt, and when extinguished an indelible black mark remains. Dissatisfied. 10/22 is from the late 80's and never had this problem until this M-Pro 7 LPX oil was used.
