We are dealing with a bed bug issue for the first time. We were told that these covers would help solve the issue but they are flawed. For all of the technology put into making these things bug proof around the zipper they forgot about one thing. Any small hole at all will defeat the purpose of having a cover. The material is very thin. I have had to replace several of these covers throughout my home because they get small holes where the mattress rest against the bed frame. Normal getting in and out of bed and tossing and turning at night is enough to wear a hole in a couple of months. They need to reinforce the bottom where it touches the frame. They put enough technology in the product to justify the cost but leave this glaring issue unresolved so the can get you to keep buying more.As far as bed bug issues go, this product feels a bit more like a scam. There is no way that the manufacturer is not aware of this commonplace breakdown. Typical 21st century design not intended for longevity. The material just doesn't hold up to everyday wear and tear.
