This product has 3 main problems: #1. The coffee chamber cannot be cleaned (see coffee filters below and this creates an inaccessible gully around the rim that collects dirt and debris after a few uses. #2 Some people think that switching from an aluminum jug to a stainless steel jug is healthy. But at On this pot, the shiny stainless steel is only beautiful on the outside.As you can see in my photo, the metal inside is painted gray with a non-stick chemical composition that's probably worse than just aluminum.#Construction is very cheap, thin sheet metal, not massive Injection molded, and that also means the plastic handle gets so hot you need a kitchen glove to poke it in. After a few tries I threw it in the trash where it belongs.
