Recommended for stovetop cooking in espresso and mocha pots

Love it. Happy w price, size and efficiency. It can brew a standard cup of coffee or 2-3 small cups of espresso depending on how you serve it. Only a few minutes to brew. I like that it's not aluminum.

Why is inside painted metal?

It's 2019 out. We all know that stainless steel is a safe metal for hot liquids. However, this manufacturer has a kind of percolator interior made of painted metal! I can not believe that. I'll send it back immediately!

Stainless steel. - kitchen and dining room

Superb stainless steel espresso machine that won't rust on the inside. He came with a steel bucket. In terms of the amount of coffee used in this coffee maker, an 8-ounce can of illy espresso would last me two weeks of brewing twice a day. Now that I only brew once a day, 8 ounces of coffee usually lasts 4 weeks.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Salon is not painted and varnished!

First, let me say to those reviewers who say the interior is painted or coated. This is not a plating, what you see is raw stainless steel. It's not a perfect design, but it certainly outperforms the aluminum versions in my book. The only thing I have is that the inside is a bit difficult to clean due to the narrow slit around the inside bottom edge. It also has a very nice design and makes great coffee.

The More You Know - Stovetop Espresso and Mocha Cookware

I've seen the dimensional image but am still unprepared at how small it was when I held it in my hand lol! Now it says 4 cups, but it means small cups used for café cubano or espresso, because American cups aren't. So if you buy this you know it's small and you have to be careful when putting it on the stove to not overheat the handle which can cause injury and use espresso cups. It took a good "minute" to leak out, but I was able to drink my coffee. Overall I like it so I'm updating my rating…

Works very well on my gas stove

I got it yesterday. We have just returned from Italy and coffee makers like this were a common sight in the properties we have stayed in. The entire device is made of stainless steel, except for the plastic handle and the hinged part on the lid. Contrary to the previous negative review, it is NOT painted on the inside. Inside is bare stainless steel, but the surface is matt instead of polished like the outside. I even scratched it lightly with the blade of a knife to be sure. Judging by the…

Excellent European style coffee. The free spoon makes it perfect.

I've lived in Spain for 3 years where espresso is surprisingly mild as opposed to espresso in the US which tastes gross and gross. I use Lavazza Espresso with this coffee maker. In Spain, stovetop coffee makers are the norm. Aluminum is the most popular. But I read that aluminum can cause health problems (avoid fizzy drinks in aluminum cans), so I went with this espresso machine with a steel plate. I've never used a spoon to measure coffee and the included spoon gives you the perfect amount…

PICK INTO THE WASTE WHERE IT PLACES

This product has 3 main problems: #1. The coffee chamber cannot be cleaned (see coffee filters below and this creates an inaccessible gully around the rim that collects dirt and debris after a few uses. #2 Some people think that switching from an aluminum jug to a stainless steel jug is healthy. But at On this pot, the shiny stainless steel is only beautiful on the outside. As you can see in my photo, the metal inside is painted gray with a non-stick chemical composition that's probably worse…
