Review on Stainless Steel Stovetop Moka Coffee Pot - Espresso Maker with Scoop and Percolator by Jenny Washington

I got it yesterday. We have just returned from Italy and coffee makers like this were a common sight in the properties we have stayed in. The entire device is made of stainless steel, except for the plastic handle and the hinged part on the lid. Contrary to the previous negative review, it is NOT painted on the inside. Inside is bare stainless steel, but the surface is matt instead of polished like the outside. I even scratched it lightly with the blade of a knife to be sure. Judging by the packaging, it's made in China, but the quality is good. I use mine on a gas range with good results.
