I love the length of this skirt. I love the feel of the rock. The green color is darker than in the picture. I was surprised it was a bit big for me, it still fits but I think I could have ordered a big one instead. I'm in that 14-16 region and accepted the fact that I should just go for XL, but was surprised that it was a bit loose, although still wearable, especially since I have to wear either spanks or shorts with it . The reason this gets three stars is because the fabric is thin enough that even dark colors show my unsightly lumps/cellulite. Reading the reviews I knew this could be a problem but I didn't realize how bad my bumps looked until I wore this skirt. When winter comes I wear tights/leggings anyway so it won't be a problem in winter. You have to be careful what shorts you wear because if they can pick up your batting, they can pick up the seams of your shorts as well. Another reason it gets three stars is the laundry. I'm just about to test the laundry facility. But nowhere on the website does it say how to wash it and I really want to throw it in the washing machine and dry it. I don't like buying hand wash, but I was looking for a maxi skirt and for only $10 for this skirt, I took a chance. SO: Care Hand wash in cold water, hang dry. I've read reviews that the skirt will shrink with normal washing and drying, but not by much, and since this skirt is a little large I decided to test that theory. No way will I hand wash it. (I have a cheap machine, so there's no hand washing.) I just wash with the rest of my clothes. It is slightly shrunken in length and waist. I don't have a large size to compare but it might shrink to this size. It still fits, but not as long as it used to, and it hugs my hips more than before, but I can still wear it and it can still be half an inch to an inch in length (I had plenty of room because you can tape it well for that, it's so wide you can move it up and down before I had a seam across my hips, now I need to sew my hips) but now need I definitely wear flip flops.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Skinny set
