Real capacity. Remember that capacity announcements are decimal capacities. The binary capacity will be lower. In this case, a 64GB drive has a binary capacity of around 58GB, which is what you'll see on most operating systems like Windows. From the factory it is formatted as a FAT32 file system, which limits the file size to 4 GB, but of course it can be reformatted to any format you like. The performance was also as advertised. A quick "SpeedOut" run to test the drive showed an average read speed of 95.5 MB/s and an average write speed of 51.6 MB/s. I've attached a screenshot of the test results. I really like the zinc case. It is extremely durable and should take a lot of abuse. It is smooth and feels good in the hand. I love the built in hinged lid. It closes with a small magnet, but folds back easily without much effort. Very good build quality for the price but performance is very average. But for the look, feel, durability and price alone I think it deserves 5 stars. If you're looking for a truly reliable USB drive, this is a solid choice.
