Plastic parts for stroller

Bought this stroller for my 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas. She loves it and can put all her children in the stroller for a walk. Her older sisters even enjoy playing with this product. There is plenty of room and it took us less than a few minutes to install the axles and wheels on the unit. The only complaint so far is that the stroller has a few plastic parts and I'm not sure the overall product is durable or how long it will last given the plastic parts. The area where the canopy connects to the stroller (picture attached) is plastic and fell apart in less than a week.
