So is it the same as those awesome electric blankets you get from there and maybe take home carelessly? You won't get warm. Toss them in the dryer for a warmer version. I love them just the way they are. Can be considered a summer blanket. Given my age of 56, I can only use that weight. The material is not Egyptian cotton, but it suits me, no frills. Gets softer with washing. I have more than one lol
