I've been using it for about three months. If you have hearing problems at higher frequencies this works great, especially when watching TV or during a normal conversation. It's not particularly good at blocking out background noise in restaurants, where there's a lot of talking and blaring TVs in most restaurants these days. Batteries last a month with occasional use (I don't wear it all the time). Opening the battery compartment to turn it on or off doesn't bother me, just one less switch to end up breaking, just be careful of the slot the battery fits in. I only ordered one and it fits me well.
