I have previously purchased another Urban Republic coat and due to reviews I bought a size up. I did the same when I bought it. I'm glad I did. Under the bottom you can wear a shirt or sweatshirt. The right size would be neat with a sweatshirt underneath. I didn't test this one, but the previous one was only dry cleaned. I'll do the same for this one - ignore, wash in cold water and hang dry. Boys' coats don't have time for dry cleaning. I can shorten the lifespan, but I suspect it will grow out before it wears out.
