You did a great job for us! I have several glass jars with broken plastic lids. They're mostly waterproof, but I had one container that landed on its side and leaked some juice. Once I managed to remove the lid, get some food, I put it back and lay there. In most cases, however, the lid and edges will need to be dried before being placed back on the container to keep them in place. The two largest lids don't fit in any of my containers, but I like to toss them on a bowl or plate in the microwave to avoid splattering. One of the lids has tomato sauce stains, but I haven't washed it in the dishwasher yet, hand washed it. Added a clean cover photo for comparison. When everything is clear I will update this. I would buy them again.
