I'm a total newbie to acrylic nails (and nails in general) but I'm now in quarantine so I can expand! I was able to get them working with no problem. I took the advice of other reviewers and started by buffing and cleaning the tips of my nails with an alcohol solution. Glue is easy to apply and not everywhere. The glue dried very quickly. I could aggressively trim and file them (since I prefer a MUCH shorter style than this) and they stayed in place. I have tiny nails and even the smallest one was too big for my pinky. However, this was easily solved with a small registration before applying. They stayed in effect for six days before two of them broke off. However, in fairness, they dropped out during particularly aggressive gardening (shoveling, digging with hands, weeding, etc.). The ones that were left seemed sturdy and I'm sure they would have lasted a bit longer if I had taken better care of them! But I was lazy and took them off. (Soaked in acetone on a Q-tip, no problem.) My only real issue with them is that there was an obvious "seam" between them and my nails, even after varnishing. I filed the area a bit which helped but didn't fix the issue. I don't know if I did something wrong with this acrylic style or if there is a problem with the product. I have very short natural nails, if that matters. Generally satisfied! And good value for money.
