which is based on wet dough and works beautifully!. I made a few comparisons with.

I had this on my wish list and got it for Christmas. While I don't know if I'm fully engrossed in the book's recipes (I've only tried one of them, to be honest), BUT I've also started using the Make Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day book. which is based on wet dough and works great!. I made a couple of comparisons using the same recipe - a loaf made with a brick and steamer and a loaf made with the same recipe in a Lekue bread maker. The only exception I found was when baking a small loaf (smaller than a breadmaker) I had to remove the bread from the pan for the last 10 minutes to give it a better colored crust. Otherwise, the texture of the outer crust was nearly identical, with no stone or steam issues. If the bread you bake fills the bread maker, I don't think you have a browning problem (I didn't have it with the first bread I made using any of the included recipes). If you happen to subscribe to a pre-made wet climb, this works very well and is easy without having to fiddle with rock and steam.
