Holy cow! What an upgrade from my old X470 MSI Gaming Pro Carbon!

It has been installed on my PC since the beginning of September 2020. I replaced the Gaming Pro Carbon with this and what a difference! ) and 2700X. With the Gaming Pro Carbon I was never able to get the memory to work reliably above 2933MHz. With this X570 Tomahawk, especially after using the updated AMD AGESA ComboAm4v2PI 1.1.0.0 Patch C, I can run the memory at 3200MHz very reliably with extremely short timings. If you're familiar with Ryzen processors, you know that it's difficult to use four DIMMs and get them up and running on a tight schedule. So far I haven't tried to raise the frequency above 3200MHz, but I will soon. The VRM is amazing - it works really cool even with PBO enabled. It's amazing how much a motherboard can positively impact PC performance without further upgrades. . My latest Cinebench R20 multi-core score was 4143, which is excellent for a 2700X. My 2700X is not overclocked. Over time I plan to upgrade the processor to 5800X. From what GamersNexus' Steve found out, Ryzen 5000-series processors run faster with four DIMMs than with two. I will know
