Simple pizza. Works very well. Updated January 2020 Updated August 2020

I just put together a new build system using a Ryzen 5 2600x processor and an Asus motherboard. Instead of plugging in a Wi-Fi card, I bought this Wi-Fi antenna for convenience. All the other computers I've had were pre-built, had Wi-Fi and Windows already installed, and I've never used a Wi-Fi antenna. After looking at a number of these devices on Revain, I decided on this device because of the good reviews, the detachable part of the antenna and the fact that the antenna does not require a cable and has to be placed somewhere around the computer . I actually used this adapter for a while without the antenna screwed on just to see how durable it is. It actually worked without an antenna, but I'm only 20 feet from my home router. I put the antenna back in to boost the signal. The best part is that it was just plug and play. I plugged it into a USB port before I even fully installed Windows 10 so Windows could check for an update. I wasn't sure if I could do this as my new build didn't have any drivers installed before Windows 10 was fully installed. But even before Windows 10 was fully installed on the computer and the Windows installer recognized that the WLAN antenna was connected to the USB port, and as soon as I entered our home wifi it worked. I typically get 250+ Mbps when connecting directly to my router/modem. My old Dell system with Windows 7 and a 5 year old i7 chip got about 25 Mbps over Wi-Fi. My new build with this antenna delivers over 100+ Mbps give or take depending on how busy the Wi-Fi is at any given time. So far it's been great and very easy to set up and use. I just plugged it in and after a few seconds I decided to connect to my home network. Update January 2020: WiFi antenna is still working fine. I had no issues with the device stopping or having no wifi. Still working well after a year. Update August 2020: Still working. Still high speeds where kids can easily play online games without lag.
