This is the fastest with the best overall performance PCIe Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter I've ever owned. However, I was very disappointed to learn that installing this device requires an available USB 2.0 header on the motherboard in addition to an open PCIe slot. For this to work, I had to disable the USB 2.0 ports on the front panel. Not a huge loss but disappointing as neither the product description nor the images state or show a USB 2.0 requirement. I've seen Wi-Fi only PCIe adapters that don't require USB 2.0, but due to a lack of manufacturer-provided specs, I don't know if a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter is possible without using a USB 2.0 port (with exception of a USB dongle) . Feedback is welcome.
