It's a BMP280, not a BME280

Does what it says on the tin, make sure you get what you want. I was a curmudgeon and didn't quite understand the difference between BMP and BME, but that's on me. The product is great and works great the way it is. I upgraded my setup with AM2302 humidity modules and all is good.

Pros

Because pressure changes are so good at measuring altitude and pressure, you can also use it as an altimeter with an accuracy of ±1.
