As mentioned by another reviewer, the VIVO Quick Attach Vesa Adapter Plate Mount is perfect for attaching an HP 22cwa monitor to a monitor stand. My monitor had a small rubber plug covering the machine screw threads. Once removed, installation was as simple as making sure the adapter's tabs lined up with the center of each receiving slot (where the original monitor base plugged in) by pressing the bottom-center button to give it a little extra. space, and then firmly insert the adapter's "feet" into the slots. Mine made a definite click when pushed far enough, but be aware that it takes some force to slide the adapter into place. Once inside, I couldn't remove the adapter without pressing the release button again, meaning it shouldn't accidentally pop back out. Place the included washer onto the included mounting screw, tighten and voila! They have a very strong mount that allows you to mount the HP 22cwa on a VESA mount of your choice. The entire installation process can take 3 to 5 minutes. Five stars for reliability and stability. Four stars for ease of installation, simply because of the pressure/force required to slide the bottom of the adapter into the monitor receiver (but at least it shouldn't come out on its own that easily). The adapter kit also includes washers and mounting screws with plastic grips on the ends for hand tightening in the VESA mount. In general very satisfied!
