Fairly easy to install but doesn't hold well on the tabs on the bottom of the monitor where the original stand snaps into place. but when i try to tilt the monitor it comes up. Every time I align the screen I have to firmly grip the monitor and bracket from underneath to make sure the bracket stays in place.

Elsewhere someone complained that the mounts inside the monitor were not secure. They are absolute if you install it correctly. At the bottom of the monitor is a small button that needs to be pressed. It takes a bit of effort, but the mount snaps into place. Then just add the included screw on top and voila, you have a monitor ready to install! It lasted almost two minutes.

The protrusions of the metal inserts on the underside of this brace are not roughly perpendicular to the underside, they are bent too far. I used a screwdriver to bend them just over 90 degrees. After that he stood in place as the base of the monitor should be. I blame HP for requiring an extra part for such a generic feature. If you're not ready or never plan on moving this monitor, I'd look elsewhere.

As mentioned by another reviewer, the VIVO Quick Attach Vesa Adapter Plate Mount is perfect for attaching an HP 22cwa monitor to a monitor stand. My monitor had a small rubber plug covering the machine screw threads.
