I wanted to surprise my best friend with a Destiny themed wall to display his collection in the garage. I wanted shelves that were affordable, easy to clean, and reasonably strong. Then give it a futuristic look to match the gaming theme. I was thinking of quality wooden shelves with metal V. But then I found them much cheaper. Assembly was decently easy, but I couldn't get all the gaps from section to section. In the end I gave up trying. But from afar. At least I can tell myself that nobody will notice. I like that they are matte so they glow with LEDs behind them and look a bit futuristic. My kit didn't have enough connectors for the design I wanted so I had to buy another smaller set and ended up using random extra parts to complement the design. The shelves are a bit thinner than I would have liked but still fit well enough to put everything the way I placed it. In general very happy with my purchase.
