The hook is too small to fit on the pipe.
The snap hook attaches to the water pipe that runs from the wall to the shower. My pipe is a standard 1 inch pipe. Opening the hook gap only allows half an inch of wiggle room. That's why I can't use the radio in the shower. I have used it for other purposes as it is portable and has a good foot to stand on. But the whole block is smaller than I thought and I can't use it where it's supposed to be.
