Cheaply made and won't stay closed. As seen in the picture, the item arrived in poor condition for what was supposed to be a new item. The velcro on the top doesn't stay closed either so the product is really useless if you want to use the bin lid (that's what I bought it for). The item won't sit securely on the floor of the car without a strap, but the strap and item are small enough that they don't reach the center console so it sits flat and stays tethered. Can't comment on the insulation or water resistance, but the insulation is thick so there's no room in the bag for real trash. Overall I wouldn't repurchase - it might be better to stick with an old plain garbage bag or a small plastic bucket with a lid and a hole.
