The tip isn't flat. Either it's short or I have a big nose because it seems to be stuck and I'm pretty sure it wet the hole for going in there. By the way, it was difficult to get in around the corner. I don't like it at all and will now see if I can just wear a nude color or find another transparent color that doesn't feel like it's being swallowed through a hole. ***UPDATE*** I removed the nose ring and replaced it with a retainer to keep my hole open. This is the cleaned version (second photo) but it was so irritated it was filled with pus and I ended up with a raised bump that I'm finally getting off!
