I bought this bead to maximize adhesion of some of the sound absorbing materials I bought. Typically with cheap reels, I've found that the wooden handle breaks after a few uses due to the pressure you have to put on the material. I don't hear any premature cracking of the handle, the roller is pretty solid and has good contact with the material I'm working with. This role stays in place and stays true. The roller wheel itself does not vibrate and spins smoothly and freely like a wheel on a skateboard or in-line skates. As an extra tip I would recommend filing a sharp 90 degree edge on the corner of the rollers to prevent the roller wheel from cutting into your material. With frequent use, it breaks by itself, but this takes a lot of time. Simply chamfer the edge with a flat file and you're done. Otherwise there is nothing more to say. about such a simple product. It's well made and does what it's supposed to. Good luck with your projects.
